Fabien Constant is a director, producer and journalist. After studying at cinema school he started as a TV journalist for networks like Canal+, to then become a television producer for tv shows and documentaries most specifically in the field of fashion.
He did many collaborations with Loic Prigent with whom he directed and produced the documentary „Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton“, as well as the succesful show „le jour d’avant“ ( Arte and Sundance channel).
Fabien also directed documentaries on the subject of cinema and pop culture including „le cinema mexicain, si loin de dieu si près des US“ , „l’effet Mad Men“, both for Canal +. He directed making-ofs for features such as „les yeux de sa mère“ featuring Catherine Deneuve, and TVCs shoots.
Adding to his many hats Fabien also considers himself a „videast“ directing many viral videos and brand content for high end clients such as Karl Lagerfeld, Coca Light, Macy’s, Yves St Laurent, Mercedes, L’Oréal Paris (which brought him to work with talents such as Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, or Naomie Watts).
Parallel to his advertising work, he directed his documentary „Mademoiselle C“ about Carine Roitfeld, one of the most influencial fashion editors in the world. Released in more than 20 countries, the film has even been screened at the White House in Washington. He is currently writing and developing his first feature project.
